Arteriors has worked with both synthetic and traditional plasters. We prefer using traditional plaster and American Clay for their uncommon environmental benefits. Traditional Venetian Plaster is made of lime and marble dust. Traditional Venetian Plaster, and other all natural plasters we work with from Armourcoat and American Clay, absorbs humidity, resists mold and mildew and regulates temperature with insulating properties. They also contain no VOC's, do not fade, and are easy to clean and repair.
