opentime™ is a paint additive that extends drying time and thins water-based paint for successful faux finishing, brushing, rolling and HVLP spraying. It was developed by Arteriors, and painters everywhere agree that it is invaluable in their day-to-day operations.

opentime™ is compatible with any water-based paint and never changes the properties of the host material — that’s right any water-based latex/acrylic based material, interior or exterior. This includes primers, paints, waterborne stains, etc.

Applications in hot/dry conditions are no longer a problem, and opentime™ is a superior aid for HVLP spraying. Sprayers clog less, and surfaces level to a glass-like texture. A mixing chart and easy to follow directions are provided on the bottles.
