We often say to each other, "how unusual, you’ve been painting!" This is, of course, a
joke because it’s a rare day when we don’t wear painters’ pants. Our obsession with the decorative
and fine arts originates with our days as students at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts
in Boston.
More than twenty years later we are a family of 4, owning a thriving art business and living
in a town west of Boston. Our studio is housed in an attached building next to our 90 year-old
New England farmhouse, which we are renovating in our "spare time." Like many family owned
businesses, personal and professional lives often blend.
If we are not on the job applying faux finishes or murals, we can be found training artist assistants, teaching seminars, or renovating yet another room at home. Artistic talent, versatility, and professionalism have made Arteriors a success. However, the most important catalyst in our prosperity is our passion for the decorative and visual arts, for which we feel very fortunate. |
